What if you could enjoy all the electric amenities of a regular city office – but in the middle of nature? Thanks to the IONIQ 5, anything is now possible. After a relaxing zero-emission commute into the wilderness, just plug in your laptop and start being creative.
This is next level Plug n’ Play. Or Plug n’ Stay… Today’s Office was created to inspire about the endless possibilities offered by a sustainable future mobility lifestyle. Just imagine being able to work from wherever you want without compromise.
The need to be able to choose your place of work based on mood have grown substantially over the last years. Working from home is becoming socially accepted, and companies are already re-evaluating their current workspace to reflect this new way of working. Hyundai’s new electric car, IONIQ 5, thanks to its Vehicle-To-Load function, can be turned into a giant power-bank and power other electrical appliances. This opens up the possibility to work from a cabin in the middle of nowhere – away from the electric grid – and still have access to the usual comforts found at an office in town.
Connected to the house, IONIQ 5 gives guests access to wi-fi, sound system, TV, refrigerator, air-sourced heat pump, kettle, espresso machine and even a toilet.
A combination of high-level hospitality and serenity enables cabin guests to relax and focus on their work.
As the first model in Hyundai’s new IONIQ brand dedicated to battery electric vehicles, IONIQ 5 sets the benchmark to redefine electric mobility lifestyles with sustainable and innovative features – from the eco-friendly materials in its interior design, to ultra-fast charging.
The Vehicle-to-Load capabilities of IONIQ 5 opens endless possibilities transforming the car into a huge powerbank. A feature that allows it to provide an on-grid experience in an off-the-grid environment.
“IONIQ will change the paradigm of EV customer experience. With a new emphasis on connected living, we will offer electrified experiences integral to an eco-friendly lifestyle.”
– Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Marketing & Product at Hyundai Motor Europe
